My thoughts are somewhat neutral about this picture. The idea is good, but I feel there is not enough detail near the thunder being cast. The trees are spectacular and the humanoid has been created nicely but the rest of the background seems a little too plain for my liking. It would also have been nicer if the lightning had a sort of electric blue shade to it. However this is only my opinion ...
The overall picture itself is nice and the concept is fairly good but its not one of your best artworks, like say.. 'Beauty and he Beast'
Nonetheless..

Dang. I absolutely love how the creature is creating the piece's light source himself, and how it creates such a striking contrast in the piece. Really nice!
