I would first like to say that this piece is incredible. The texturing, the detail, and the lighting forcibly draw you into this harsh landscape. The elements of speed painting perfectly accent the shadowed background, while the focus of the image is marked with paralyzing precision.

The foreground of shining pyrite columns blurs perfectly at the edges and in the distance to emphasize the speed of the ship, while the three horn-like mountains which rise above the plain create an incredible contrast in lighting with the shadows they cast. The mountains seem to be somehow involved with the suspension of what is clearly the emperor's destination, a truly brilliant ellipsoidal structure that hints at being either a floating imperial city, or a spacecraft of incredible magnitude. And all of this is topped off with a brilliantly textured sky.

The originality and technique are superb in this piece, and even the vision is incredible, except for one thing which I feel is lacking. The entire image is completely awe-inspiring, and the harsh light makes it almost overpowering, but it seems to be somewhat emotionally detached apart from that. The landscape is incredible, but it gives little hint about the story behind it. An emperor is arriving at this location, and the natural and technological demonstrations are immense, but there doesn't seem to be a very obvious human element to the piece. Let there be no mistake, the artist has created an extraordinary painting, but I feel it may have greater lasting impact if it inspired additional emotions besides awe.

To moonxels I would like to say though, great work! Each new piece you release is more incredible than the last. I'm sure we all look forward to what new brilliant designs you will create in the future.
