Starting off, the detail placed into every individual element is excellent. From the minuscule details like the buttons on keyboards, scratches in walls, floors and paint, and even the statistics and information on the screens in the main control room, its all a feast for the eyes and the imagination. The massive ship in the background really gives you a genuine sense of scale for the entire ship and really makes you feel smaller in comparison to it. It almost feels like your looking through the eyes of a bridge worker looking over the edge of a platform, watching the captain calculate his next course of action. Lighting usage is equally as stunning and really jumps on display. Everything emanates light realistically and while appearing bright and dominating, does not out balance the overall design of the ship and spacescape.
The Black Arrow is a piece that grasps your attention and does not even have to try to keep it. From the outstanding detail in each and every brush stroke to the excellent lighting and sense of scale, it a truly amazing piece to see. Excellent work. *moonxels.
