Mankind vanished from the Earth and went to another planet centuries ago , leaving behind ruins and ashes, an extremely polluted atmosphere ... a dead planet.
They left, leaving behind the huge statue of Gaia, Mother Earth, in a gigantic dome containing the last relics of nature (seeds, etc. ..)
Centuries later, against all odds, nature has reclaimed it's rights and these innocent animals have unwittingly found the source of this miraculous revival...

this image actually comes from a dream I had :
I was flying over this scenery ,but it was a way bigger place and I had to fly quite some times to get to this statue... there was a lot of pilars like the ones on the sides of the statue with water flowing from everywhere and from the top of this place to the greenish ground flying in rotations all around this place was a joy ,it was a marvelous dream and my picture doesn't do any justice to my vision...

I the artist has captured much more they realise, this image is very powerful. The images shows us mother nature as we can comprehend it in a grand scale.
I love this piece and it shows nature at it's best without us (people) there to disturb it, I find myself wondering why man can't seem to find this kind of piece in ourselves and why we tend to ignore nature until it starts fighting back in some way.
If I could find a place like this I would disappear there. This little world that they created is amazing and I know how difficult it can be to capture the vision in your mind sometimes. Lastly the way it is rendered is really nicely done.
This image provokes much thought and I am stunned.

This is AMAZING. It immediately caught my eye as I was browsing through art and I actually backtracked just so I could look more closely at this. I did look, and I fell deeply in love. The peace and serenity this artwork exudes calms a person down to their core. This is a beautiful representation of what sounds to be an even more beautiful dream. Everything about this is perfect. The angle, the colors, the animals, and especially the monument of Mother Earth. This is absolutely FANTASTIC. I have never seen such original artwork that is so completely the artist's own. It's not only totally unique, it's also incredibly gorgeous!

May I please have permission to copy "I, mother earth"? She is wonderful. My copy would be a pyrographic image on 12"x12" Baltic birch plywood, don't know yet if I would use any color or just leave the natural tones of the woodburning. The burning would also include the title of your picture and a notation that it was recreated with the permission of the artist moonxels - or your wording would be used. IF the finished burning is as stunning as I hope, it would be entered for competition in several wood shows and the Florida state fair. Thank you for your consideration. Please respond to Ann Cooke (that's me) at anncooke01@gmail.com. Thank you.
