GHOST COUNTRY by moonxels GHOST COUNTRY by moonxels
Here's the cover for the french edition of "Ghost Country" published by "L'ATALANTE editions",the novel will be translated to "Le pays fantome"...:)

this is the killer follow-up to the equally stunning novel "THE BREACH" by author Patrick LEE.

the action takes place 70 years into the future after the events that happened in "the BREACH"...
humans disappeared from the surface of the Earth and left everything behind...travis chase will have to find out what's going on and save humanity again...

you can also find the french cover for "the BREACH" here:

Edit:thanks so much to rydi1689 and Atramina for the DD, it's feeling awesome.

Edit 2:to celebrate this I've just posted the large version here:

Everything in GHOST COUNTRY makes me stare in awe, wondering what might have happened and how the story will unfold. Fascinating piece by an incredible artist, the rest of the gallery is a must see!". ( Suggested by rydi1689 and Featured by Atramina )

Post-apocalyptic scene are often portrayed as dark, unlivable and, of course, full of zombies. I just love when it's portrayed more calmly, with nature replacing the lack of life humans left.

Also, well deserved DD!

My favorite thing about this picture is the portal. I just think it's wonderful and I like how you made it so the background inside of it was wavered. You also put in a lot of details which I liked as well. It's a cool picture 8-)

I actually picked up and read through both books after I saw your work featured as a DD, and I think your depiction really captures what the books should be about. I find the actual plot of each book to be rather hard to swallow because they contain so many logical oversights and lack realism, however.

I have to say I really like your work here though, I wish the latter novel had taken the time to really spell out the desolation the characters were confronted with, to really convey the absolute decay of civilization like you have shown here - where undergrowth emerges from every nook and cranny.

ho well, you just have to read it as good pieces of fun and action and I think it succeeds very well in that matter

"you're welcome" means something else in french like "hello ,welcome here"

i have seen in a dream the city of leeds in england like this when i was a teenager. little did i know i would be living there now! i havent had the dream again but it left me with a profound reminder that mankind is not eternal nor nessecarily wise.
i really love your work, brilliantly realistic and inspirational.
